THE USUAL STUDIO

Brief

Design a logo to reflect the growth of the business over the last 5 years, refreshing the brand and enhancing our image as an approachable, innovative design agency. We wanted the logo to be familiar, keeping the hand-written feel which is very us, evoking personality, style, creativity, professionalism and experience.

Solution

The finished logo is based on ink drawings, we used Adobe Illustrator to work up the sketches, adding shades of grey to give depth and clarity to the complex, swirling lettering. Highlights of green and blue were added for detail at large scale, while the logo appears simpler when small. The logo's been tilted adding a sense of playfulness.
